This theatre and school were opened with the intention of presenting drama in the most honest, organic way possible. The Atwater Playhouse is a Method acting theatre. All work and performance done in the space is treated with the same amount of respect for the acting craft that Constantin Stanislavski preached in his writings and teachings.
