 | There are but a few undeniable truths in the world. One of these truths is that time changes things. How we as a people respond to these changes is the canvas on which the characters of "Tick-Tock" will live out their journey together.
Jake and Julia have been married for seven years, and Julia's biological clock is suddenly ringing the alarm bells at full volume. Jake can't quite hear it. The play opens with a celebration for one of the couple's close friends, and ends just over a year later as the ramifications of the choices made are exposed for the audience to consider, examine, and experience.
This life-changing journey of soul searching, discovery, and heartache will be the reason we will not want to look away for even a moment.

"A Story that makes you reflect on your own life..."
I dont' usually go to plays here in this city because they simply aren't of any substance many cases the story is but the actors just seem fake. This play made me reflect on my own desires in life because it was well acted. simply that!

"Finally something original in LA"
I was getting tired of seeing the same plays over and over. It seemed like Theatres in LA just liked the 10 same plays. The Atwater Playhouse showed me something new and the performance was quite impressing too. I enjoyed it greatly.

"What counts in life..."
“ Very interesting play, not so much about biological clocks as when to give up on your dreams and what counts as having a successful life, seen from the perspective of a screenwriter, his wife, and their friends. Definitely recommended! ”

"Moving and real"
"Tick Tock" at the Atwater Playhouse is a bittersweet drama about relationships and following your dreams. This was a very good piece of theater. It's my third time at this intimate theater so they must be doing something right.
